Looking through some photos from last year, holy cow! Cue the water works! I cannot believe how much Bay has grown. It is also motivating me to get my booty back into shape. I recently read a great little book called “Don’t Miss It” written by Reggie Joiner and Kristen Ivy. I recommend this book to anyone with kids, it opens your eyes to how fast time flies with your children. We all have had a parent of older kids come up to you and say “They grow up so fast”. Just to give you some perspective, you have approximately 936 weeks from the time your baby is born till your baby is 18 and (typically) moving out of the house. That means since Bay is almost 2, I have about 832 weeks left with her. This isn’t meant to be a sad thing but its meant to fuel you to spend those weeks wisely and make the most out of the time we have together here on earth. This book encourages parents to have a jar of marbles and each week take out a marble to have a visual of the weeks you have left with your child. This will remind you to make the moments count, especially when the moments can be hair pullers at times. Remember “You may not realize it, but you are making history”.
Here’s where you can order your book, its worth the read.
